That was the thinking behind the brand. 11 PETALS was created as a social movement, a “community” fanwear brand to support the female players at United City FC.

Due to the lack of funding and exposure of grassroots soccer it is overlooked, undervalued and abused. In a world driven by the superficial, big brands only want to sponsor big teams. Let’s remember that every great player started at the bottom before they got to the top!

11 PETALS’s vision and mission is to create a long-term sustainable brand to develop and support an alternative “pathway to pro” route for players while building a professional soccer club in America.

The US Soccer system is fragmented with many quality players from Latin, African American, Pan-Asian and other communities unable to turn pro for various reasons that includes: not part of the college system for NWSL and MLS Drafts, lack of opportunities, ineligibility due to low academic achievements, economic circumstances and zero exposure to professional clubs.

United City FC is directly addressing these problems to help develop minority players of Latino, African American, Pan-Asian and other immigrant backgrounds and providing them a pathway to turning pro.

United City FC has proven their ability to scout players and their record speaks for itself: 5X STATE CHAMPIONS, 7X NATIONAL TEAM PLAYERS, 5X INTERNATIONAL TEAM PLAYERS COMPETING IN CONCACAF WOMEN’S GOLD CUP, 4X BRONZE MEDALS AT THE 2023 CENTRAL AMERICAN &CARIBBEAN GAMES , LEADING GOAL SCORER IN THE NATION…. THE LIST GOES ON!

However, to move on up you have to pay more. That is sport in America. 11 PETALS is creating that opportunity for United City FC to move up the leagues, offer better facilities and help players achieve their dreams. LET’S DO THIS TOGETHER!

The concept for 11 PETALS will be to establish a focused grassroots soccer apparel brand and then onboard other grassroots clubs giving them the ability to tab into the community to help raise awareness and funds to support their soccer plans.
